Summary
- Share your personal referral link. When someone who signed up through your link buys the info pack, you earn 20% of the price they paid, excluding VAT.
- One tier only. You earn on your own referrals’ info pack purchases: not on people they refer, not on lead purchases, and never just for sign-ups.
- Commission is held for 14 days after payment, then approved if the order hasn’t been refunded.
- We pay approved commission by bank transfer and record our transfer reference in your portal.
- Promote honestly: label your posts as ads, make no income claims and never spam.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and [to be confirmed], trading as Accord Data Partners (ADP) (“ADP”, “we”, “us” or “our”) about our referral programme. They apply alongside our website terms. Our programme is separate from any referral programme run by an AI data buyer; buyer programmes are governed by each buyer’s own terms.
2. Who can take part
- You must be 18 or over and have an ADP account in good standing.
- You don’t need to buy anything to take part.
- If you take part on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
- We may decline or end participation as section 12 explains.
3. Your referral link and how referrals are credited
- Your portal shows your personal referral link and code.
- A referral is credited to you when someone creates their ADP account through your link: either straight from the link, or within 30 days of following it if they allowed referral tracking in our cookie banner.
- If someone follows more than one referral link, the most recent one counts.
- A referral is fixed when the account is created. It can’t be added afterwards or moved to someone else.
- We can’t credit a referral if the person already had an account, declined referral tracking and didn’t sign up straight from your link, or signed up more than 30 days after following it.
4. Commission
- Rate: 20% of the amount the referred customer actually paid for the info pack, excluding VAT and after any discount.
- What counts: paid info pack orders by accounts you referred. Lead purchases and other products don’t earn commission, and neither do your own purchases.
- One tier: you earn only on people you referred directly, never on people they go on to refer.
- No sign-up rewards: you never earn anything for someone joining, only for a paid info pack order.
- Currency: pounds sterling.
- The current rate is shown in your portal. We may change it as section 11 explains.
5. Hold period, approval and cancellation
- New commission is pending for 14 days after the referred order is paid, to allow for refunds and payment disputes.
- After the hold period, commission on an order that hasn’t been refunded or disputed is approved.
- Commission is cancelled if the order is refunded in full, charged back, reversed or not paid, or if it results from fraud, self-referral or a breach of these terms. A partial refund reduces the commission in proportion.
- If an order is refunded after its commission was approved or paid, we may deduct that amount from future commission or ask you to repay it.
6. Payment
- We pay approved commission by bank transfer, in pounds sterling, to the bank details you save in your portal. We aim to pay within 30 days of approval.
- Each payment is recorded in your portal with the amount, date and our own transfer reference, so you can match it to your bank statement. The portal records payments we have made; it doesn’t move money itself.
- If a transfer fails because the details are wrong, we will pay again once you have corrected them.
- We don’t pay commission in cash, vouchers or cryptocurrency.
- We may hold back payment while we investigate suspected fraud or a breach of these terms. We will tell you why.
7. Promoting ADP honestly
When you promote ADP you must follow the law and the advertising rules, including the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (the CAP Code), the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK data protection law.
Say that you are paid
- Make it clear, before anyone clicks or buys, that you earn commission. On social media, put a clear label such as “#ad” or “Ad” at the start of the post, not hidden among other hashtags or below a “more” link.
- On a website, in a video or in an email, put a clear statement next to the link, such as “I earn a commission if you buy the ADP info pack through this link.”
- Words like “affiliate” or “partner” on their own may not be clear enough.
Make no income claims
- Don’t claim or suggest that anyone will earn money, how much, or how quickly, through ADP, the info pack or any buyer’s referral programme.
- Don’t present buyers’ published reward figures as typical or likely earnings. Rewards are set and paid by buyers and are never guaranteed.
- Don’t show screenshots of rewards, commissions or bank balances.
- Don’t describe the info pack as a job, an investment, a guaranteed income or a way to get rich quickly.
Don’t spam
- Don’t send marketing emails or text messages to individuals, including sole traders and some partnerships, unless they have agreed to hear from you.
- When you email businesses, identify yourself and give an easy way to opt out, and stop when someone asks.
- Don’t buy, rent or scrape contact lists.
- Don’t make marketing calls to numbers registered with the Telephone Preference Service or the Corporate Telephone Preference Service unless the person has agreed, and never make automated marketing calls.
- Don’t post in groups, forums or comment threads where promotion isn’t allowed, and never post fake reviews.
Other rules
- Don’t say or suggest that you work for ADP or for any AI data buyer, or that ADP is connected to any buyer.
- Use the ADP name and logo only to describe ADP accurately. Don’t register domain names, social media accounts or app names that include “ADP” or “Accord Data Partners”.
- Don’t bid on “ADP”, “Accord Data Partners” or similar terms in paid search advertising.
- Don’t use hidden links, forced clicks, misleading redirects or any technique that sets a referral without the person’s knowledge.
- Don’t offer cashback, discounts or other incentives unless we agree in writing.
- Don’t target people under 18.
- Describe the info pack accurately. It explains how the market and buyer programmes work; it doesn’t guarantee results.
8. No self-referral or fraud
- You can’t earn commission on your own purchase, or on an account that you, your household or your business controls, or that was created for you.
- One account per person. Fake or duplicate accounts are not allowed.
- If we find self-referral or fraud, we may cancel the related commission, hold back payments and close the accounts involved.
9. Personal data
You and we are each responsible, as separate controllers, for the personal data we each handle. You are responsible for making sure your own marketing complies with UK data protection law and PECR. We don’t share referred people’s contact details with you; you see the status of your commission only.
10. Tax
We pay commission without deducting tax or National Insurance. You are responsible for reporting and paying any tax due on it. If you are registered for VAT, tell us before we pay you so that we can agree how VAT is handled. This is general information, not tax advice; check HMRC’s guidance or speak to an adviser.
11. Changes to the programme
We may change these terms or the commission rate by giving you at least 14 days’ notice by email or in the portal. Changes don’t affect commission on orders paid before the change takes effect.
12. Ending your participation
- You can leave at any time by emailing [to be confirmed]. We will pay commission that has been approved, and pending commission once it is approved.
- We may end your participation with 14 days’ notice, or immediately for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, fraud, or conduct that is likely to damage ADP’s reputation. Commission connected with a breach is cancelled; other commission you have earned will be paid.
- If we close the programme, we will give at least 30 days’ notice and pay all commission earned.
13. Our relationship
You take part as an independent person or business. You are not our employee, agent or partner, and you can’t make promises or enter into agreements on our behalf.
14. Liability
Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the commission payable to you in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or for loss of profit. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in the courts where you live, and the mandatory consumer protections of that part of the UK still apply to you.
